An Overview of Human Resource Management Training and Certification Programs

Human resource development in the work place can be complicated enough without adding another level of training and knowledge that comes along with it. University examination help can be invaluable to anyone looking to boost their university grade and get into the job of their dreams. Professional human resource certificates provide a very popular method of demonstrating your HR experience and knowledge. The Human Resource Development Association (HRCA) awards several categories of certification:

PHR (Professional with Human Resources) PHR certificates are a good indication of HR management expertise. The program, which can take six weeks to complete, covers theoretical and practical training, but does not include classroom study. The PHR exam includes questions covering the various methods and processes used by HR departments in both large and small businesses and helps potential employers evaluate your competency as a manager.

PRH (Professional with Professionalization) The PRH certificate is the highest of all certification levels available and must be achieved through university exams. The program, which takes nine weeks, covers practical and theoretical study, but no classroom time is required.

HRI (Human Resource Integration) This level is a combination of the PRH and the HR Management Institute’s (HRMI) Certified Program. To qualify for this certification, you must have at least five years of experience in a managerial position and have passed an HRMI certified exam.

HRMD (Human Resource Manager) The HRMD is another highly recommended university certification. Like its counterpart, it takes nine weeks for the program to complete and must be taken prior to taking the HRMI exam. The program provides a comprehensive overview of the various concepts and practices used in HR management and includes a theoretical component as well as practice exam questions.

HRO (Human Resource Specialist) Although more technical and specific than PHR, the HRO program does cover most, if not all, of the skills required for working within a HR department. These skills are then used in the HRI certified exam. The program was designed specifically to prepare candidates for the more in-depth program offered by the HRMI. in order to make the necessary transition from an entry-level position to a higher level management position.

HRI (Human Resource Inspector The HR Inspector level is designed to train managers to perform a variety of duties within the human resources department. It is not an actual university examination. However, it is recommended that any university certificate candidates who wish to become an HRI inspector first take the HRMI certification exam before seeking university certification.

Taking a university exam help can improve your chances of achieving this certification. In addition to providing you with a high school diploma or GED level certification, the higher the level, the better the certification will be.

HRO (Human Resource Specialist) The HR Specialist certification is the highest level of human resource management training and certification and is recommended for professionals in both private and public organizations. It takes an estimated nine months to complete and consists of a theoretical portion, classroom work, and practice test questions.

The program is the only one recommended for students who intend to apply for permanent positions in HR departments. This program also requires the completion of an approved Human Resource Management Institute certification test and two months of practical training in a local facility.

The program is recommended for those already working in HR and want to move up to higher positions. You can get started in the program the same way as those with an associate degree or as long as you have at least five years of experience in a managerial position. However, to become a Certified HR Specialist, you must first take an approved exam offered by HRMI. or the National Council for Accreditation of Certification of Career Colleges and Schools (NCCS).

After completing the program, you may need to pass a test and then qualify for an accredited internship to show prospective employers that you possess the skills that are expected of a qualified HR specialist. You may also have to pass a practical certification examination to work in a field that is specific to your chosen area of specialization.
